New Christian Medallions Collection

Christian Medallions

The new collection of Christian Medallions was made for upcoming spring holidays. It will help you decorate any Easter projects. 

You may use the designs as LEGO to make decorative borders. 4 medallions which included in this collection could be used as an appliqué designs. 

By embroidering them on water-soluble stabilizer you may use them as patches. Additional information about the patch-making technique you may find on our website. By skipping first 2 threads, you may use them as regular designs.

Today, we have published 3 new design sets created in the same Victorian style as and medallions. These designs could be last final touches to your Easter projects. We have tried to make new designs as colorful as it only possible to lift our mood in last winter’s days.

It is very bright flower collection, including the designs of baskets, floral bouquets, decorative corners and pano. All the designs are made in Victorian Style.

Set includes 2 designs and was conceived specially for the large quilts. To use these designs you are required to have minimum 8x8x-inch hoops.

Placemat Portfolio - project by Sally Red

Start with a plain, inexpensive double sided, fabric placemat. (This one came from a local dollar store.) Fold up the bottom edge about 3 1/2inches and press using a steam iron.

Mark the center front of the portfolio with a water soluble pen. Hoop a piece of Peel-N-Stick stabilizer. Center align needle, design and center marking and stitch out design of choice.

Pictured in the sample is the Precious Moments font. Other designs worth considering are the Art Nouveau Frames and monograms, two letter monograms, and the Golden Rome font set. 

Fold embroidered placemat in thirds. Mark pen placement with a water soluble marker and stitch along these lines with a reinforcing stitch on your machine, or back tack a straight stitch.

Sew a snap closure or use Velcro dots or even ribbon ties to complete your portfolio. You can add pretty note cards and a pen to accessorize your project perfect for your own use or as a gift for a special friend.

Embellished Shoe - project by Bobbie Berry

Heirloom Frames and Mono-Dream Font

Hoop 2 layers of water soluble stabilizer with 2 layers of tulle. Stitch the Heirloom Frame 4 design. Cut out embroidery leaving about 1" around it.  

Then rinse away the excess WSS. Lay flat to dry.

After the embroidery is dry, trim closely to stitching without cutting the embroidery design.

Select the shoes you want to embellish and lightly spray adhesive on shoe surface....when tacky apply the embroidery. Adjust the embroidery to fit the shoe..... you may need to scotch tape the edges of the embroidery until it dries.
