Unique Fonts for 3-letter Monograms!

We've released two absolutely amazing fonts with heirloom floral monogram wreaths. These alphabets are intended for stitching traditional 3-letter monograms. This is a sure hit for Christmas gifts!

Both of these new monogram sets are designed especially for fine linens. The first collection will perfectly fit to personalize Guest Towels.

Victorian 3-L Monogram Font includes capital letters in 2 sizes, which are easily assembled into any 3-letter monogram. It also features 3 decorative frames, which are adorned with Rose flowers.

This Edwardian-style monogram font is perfect for adorning Hemstitched Lingerie Bag, as well as handkerchiefs.

The letters come in one size, but in 3 different angle versions, to fit the monogram frame, and allow you assemble any monogram easily. Two frames are included - one for a single initial, and one for a classic 3-letter monogram.

Water Soluble Backing is an ideal solution for stitching on ready items. Just hoop the backing, position the item over it, secure and start stitching. Fortunately, this allows to deal with very delicate fabrics, and with pieces that are impossible to hoop, like hankies etc. Happy Embroidering!

Arbour-Style Birthday Greetings

This gorgeous and smartly fulfilled project was kindly contributed to our gallery by Pamela Denton. Pamela, thank you!!!

As you may see, Pamela used a couple of embroidery designs from Rose Heaven collection, along with lettering and stylish outer frame design, to make two stylish greeting cards.

There are two interesting issues about these cards, besides the fact that they're just tastefully made:

1. The card base consists of paper.

2. The designs and lettering are applied over, as applique, and therefore they stand out and look extremely dimensional.

Here are a few words directly from the author, describing the process:

First, I stitch the flower or other design on a layer of synthetic fabric. I use mostly "crystal organza" and WSF (water soluble film). I then wash dry and press the design before burning around the outline with a fine tipped soldering iron. For these cards, I digitized a trellis, which again was stitched and treated in the same way as the flower design. I burnt in and around the trellis holes and stuck this background onto the card, and then stuck the flower design on top, giving a 3D effect. I have used a number of the ROSE HEAVEN designs for cards, as they are particularly suitable for using in this way.

NOTE: A well ventilated room is essential when using a soldering iron on fabrics.

We hope that you like these cards like we do :o) Also, be sure to send your projects over, and take advantage of our "Projects Club".

More Projects

Today we've published several new projects, utilizing our embroidery fonts. They're all really interesting, and easy to do. Visit our project gallery to borrow a few ideas for where & how to use embroidery fonts.
This entire project was created by Nancy Athearn from Milton, Florida. Nancy emailed a very detailed instruction for making removable cover for round flat side lamp shade. We just put it here word in word. If your lampshade is in different shape, but still not too complicated for removable cover - you may use the same idea, just think how to make the original pattern in a way that is possible with your lamp shade. And this is what came out at the end - a lovely embroidered lamp shade, and cushion.
